Il existe quelques mythes qui hantent l’esprit d’un voyageur et rien sinon la mort ne pourra l’empêcher de les embrasser, un jour. Je ne parle pas du Machu Picchu ou des pyramides d’Egypte, merveilles du monde assisté. Je rêve des vrais mythes, lieux inconnus aux légendes chuchotées, terres difficiles ou l’étude et l’effort demeurent les garde-fous de la grande aventure. Ces mythes portent toujours un nom étrange que le vrai voyageur retient pourtant en un clin d’œil : Taklamakan, Nunavut, Kamchatka, Wadi Rum, Los Tepuis y el Licancabur.
J’ai décidé de tuer mes fantômes, de vivre mes fantasmes. Le premier est un volcan rude et raide posé entre Atacama et Altiplano bolivien. Le Licancabur domine de ces 6000 mètres le désert le plus aride du monde, et touche un ciel d’une pureté que les astronomes disent unique.
El 3 de febrero del 2012 "The Magic Bus" emprenderá su viaje a través de la Ruta Panamericana, siguiendo la huella de Che Guevara, con el espíritu de Jack Kerouac, para intercambiar un poco de cultura entre su equipo internacional y las poblaciones más apartadas de América del Sur.
A bordo irán un profesor de inglés, un músico, un fotógrafo, un periodista, un cocinero y un terapeuta. La Escuela Ambulante, "The Magic Bus", recorrerá de Puerto Varas al Río Amazonas, visitando Mapuches, Aymaras, Quechuas, Guaraníes...
